Illini Fighting Hunger facilitates food packaging projects that benefit food pantries and food banks in Illinois. Most of these projects are hosted by organizations who partner with us to pay for the supplies and provide volunteers. Our packaging projects are a perfect service program for student groups, youth groups, social clubs, religious congregations, and businesses!

Illini Fighting Hunger is able to keep project costs very low because we have have zero overhead costs and rely on an all-volunteer staff. We are so thankful for our partnerships within the campus community and for gifts from our donors and supporters.
If you are just interested in occasional volunteering with no minimum commitment, then the volunteer list is the place for you: subscribe/unsubscribe.
We also rely on volunteers to help organize projects and, on occasion, to package food at events that are open to the public.
