Donate/Sponsor

How can I make a donation?

Thank you for considering a donation to Illini Fighting Hunger! To give a financial gift, please contact us and/or send a check to the following address: Illini Fighting Hunger, 1203 West Green St., Urbana, IL, 61801.

How are my donations used?

Illini Fighting Hunger is fully-reliant on outside support to fulfill our service mission. 100% of your donation will be used to purchase packaging equipment and/or fund food packaging events that engage local volunteers and serve food-insecure individuals and families in our community.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes! However, Illini Fighting Hunger does not provide written acknowledgement of donations made online under $250 – this documentation is only necessary for donations over $250 (Please see IRS Publication 526 for more details). If your donation exceeds $250, be sure to include an accurate mailing address or e-mail.

Illini Fighting Hungers seeks and graciously accepts financial sponsorship of our packaging events from university, business, and community groups. 100% of your sponsorship will go toward the costs of obtaining the wholesale ingredients and/or equipment necessary to facilitate our volunteer events. We welcome you to our facility on campus to enjoy your own private group packaging event. You may also opt to allow our student team to do the packaging work in your place and to donate its products in your name to the local food bank, pantry, or other recipient of your choice.
